William Oden

William Oden, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Technical Accounting Policy Advisor at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners since November 2022. Prior to this role, William was an Audit Manager at UHY LLP, where responsibilities included comprehensive audit processes across various sectors including country clubs and non-profits. Previous positions include Senior Auditor at House Park Dobratz & Wiebler, P.C. and Marks Nelson LLC, as well as CFO/Controller at Shaman Hive, LLC, overseeing financial strategies. William began as a Bookkeeper and progressed through various roles, including stage performer at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival. William holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Rockhurst University and an Associate of Arts from Metropolitan Community College-Maple Woods.
