Savitha Sundaraiah

Savitha Sundaraiah currently serves as an Operations Engineer trainee at NAM BV Assen, starting in September 2023. In conjunction with this role, Savitha has been a PhD fellow at the University of Groningen since May 2018, focusing on chemical engineering with an emphasis on biodiesel, liquid-liquid extraction, and hydrodynamic and reactive mass transfer studies. Previously, Savitha held positions such as Technical Project Manager at the Indian Institute of Science from February 2017 to January 2018, and Research Intern at the Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy and the National Institute of Advanced Studies. Early career experience includes serving as a Project Engineer at Amala Engineering Pvt Ltd from July 2011 to April 2012. Educational qualifications include a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Groningen, an M.Tech. in Nuclear Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from M S Engineering College, Bangalore.
