Connie Mom-Chhing, MPA, D.M., is a member of the NAMI Board of Directors and a member of NAMI Southwest WA, where she wants to support NAMI in their outreach to the underserved and underrepresented communities by increasing the awareness of mental health within communities of color. She is also Director of Integrated Managed Care at the Community Health Plan of Washington in Vancouver, WA.
She is a healthcare executive with bilingual/bicultural expertise, broad administrative skills and project management experience. She has extensive experience in the areas of behavioral health administration, healthcare integration strategies, managed care operations, non-profit management, health care policy analysis, and cultural diversity, inclusion and equity. She is a former Vice Chair and current Board President of the National Cambodian American Organization and author of “Towards Understanding Cambodian American Leadership Culture: A Grounded Theory.”
She earned her D.M. in Organizational Leadership, University of Phoenix, AZ; MPA from Lewis & Clark College, Portland, OR; and B.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and French, Western Washington University, Bellingham, WA.
For the 2020-2021 Board term, she serves on the Public Policy Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and DEI Champion’s Workgroup.
