Juan Fernandez de la Mora

Scientific Advisor at NanoEngineering

Prof. de la Mora is a world reknowned expert in ion mobility spectroscopy and particle measurement. Throughout his career he has led research, published numerous studies and registered several patents in the fields of ; electrostatic atomization of liquids from Taylor cones, applications to electrical propulsion, ion beam generation in vacuum, nanoparticle production and experimental techniques for high resolution size classification of nanometer particles. Prof. de la Mora took Prof. Fenn’s Nobel winning research on electrospray and created a knowledge base upon which NEC could be established. He has served as a professor at Yale University since 1981 following his Ph.D at the university and post-doctoral work at UCLA.
