Jim White

Jim White has extensive experience in the field of life sciences, currently serving as a Senior Field Application Specialist for EMEA at NanoString Technologies since July 2010. Prior to this role, Jim held the position of Associate Director of Customer Experience at NanoString Europe until retirement in October 2023, and was the European Support Manager at BioTrove from November 2008 to May 2010. Earlier in their career, Jim was the Business Development Manager at Applied Biosystems, managing the AB TaqMan Assay and Custom Oligo business for Europe and achieving significant market growth. Jim began their professional journey as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. Jim holds a BSc and PhD in Biochemistry from Queen's University Belfast and completed education at Sullivan Upper Grammar School in Holywood.
