Martin Shelton

Martin Shelton is an accomplished professional in the life sciences sector with over 20 years of experience spanning commercialization, research, and clinical laboratory services. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Services Program at NanoString Technologies, Inc., Martin has played a pivotal role in promoting GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiling technology and expanding the nCounter platform into neuroscience. Previous positions include Marketing Contractor at Apex Systems, Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute for Systems Biology, and various roles focused on molecular genetics and immunology at Morehouse School of Medicine, Emory Healthcare, and Emory University. Martin Shelton holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from Morehouse School of Medicine and a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame.
