Ashok Samuel

Ashok Samuel is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in private equity and risk management. Currently serving as a casual teacher at Nanyang Technological University Singapore since January 2021, Ashok Samuel teaches private equity courses to a diverse audience, including those without finance backgrounds. Prior to this role, Ashok Samuel held significant positions, including Head of Private Equity Risk at GIC from May 1998 to June 2020 and Assistant Vice President at both ICICI Venture and TDICI from May 1990 to May 1998. Ashok Samuel holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a bachelor's degree from Andhra University.
