Omer Lustgarten

Omer Lustgarten is a research scientist at NATA - Nucleic Acid Therapy Accelerator since August 2023, previously serving as a senior chemist at 1E Therapeutics from April 2021 to March 2024 and as a scientist at OPKO Biologics Ltd. from December 2018 to January 2021. Omer pursued a PhD in Bioorganic Chemistry at the Weizmann Institute of Science from 2014 to 2018, focusing on the bio-organic chemistry of DNA-based functional devices, after obtaining an MSc in Organic Chemistry from the same institution between 2011 and 2014. Omer's academic journey began with a BS in Chemistry and Biology from Tel Aviv University, completed between 2008 and 2011.
