Dinesh Vyas

Dinesh Vyas currently holds the position of Chair of the Department of Surgery at California Northstate University since February 2018. Alongside this role, Dinesh serves as a Program Director for Surgery Residency and former Chief Medical Officer for Quality at SJGH from February 2017, while also being a robotic surgeon. As CEO and Founder of multiple medical technology ventures since June 2010, Dinesh has developed a substantial portfolio, including 28 issued and filed patents and trademarks. Dinesh is active on editorial boards for several prominent medical journals and has contributed to the National Academy of Medicine's Digital Health Action Collaborative. Furthermore, Dinesh engages as an angel investor and executive advisor to various healthtech funds, advising startups through their development stages. Dinesh's educational background includes degrees from prestigious institutions such as the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of Rajasthan.
