Brian Roberts

Brian Roberts is a seasoned professional in civil engineering with extensive experience across various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Senior Program Officer at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine since January 2022, Brian also operates as the Business Owner of BCR Consulting, LLC since May 2018. Prior roles include Executive Director of the National Association of County Engineers and the National Corrugated Steel Pipe Association, as well as Director at the Water Resources Learning Center. Brian's career began at Fairfax County Public Works as an Engineer, followed by a pivotal position as Chief Hydraulics Engineer with the Federal Highway Administration. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
