Elana Lippa has extensive experience in planned giving and fundraising, currently serving as the Director of Planned Giving at The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine since September 2019. Prior to this role, Elana held positions such as Director of Gift Planning at Charles E. Smith Life Communities and Montgomery College, where responsibilities included managing various complex gifts like estate and trust contributions, life income gifts, and non-cash assets. Elana's career in fundraising began at the National Foundation for Cancer Research as a Major and Planned Giving Officer, and earlier at the Smithsonian Institution as a Planned Giving Associate/Major Gifts Assistant. Elana holds an M.A. in Arts Management from American University and a B.A. in Music from Virginia Commonwealth University.
