The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Massachusetts (NAMI Massachusetts) is a nonprofit grassroots organization founded in 1982.

We seek to improve the quality of life for people living with mental health conditions, their families, and their caregivers. We work to ensure that all people impacted by a mental health condition receive the support they need when they need it. We use our voices as people and families with lived experience to challenge discrimination and advocate for a more equitable and just world.

The Education and Training Specialists team at NAMI Massachusetts focuses on delivering informative and supportive programs to individuals affected by mental health conditions. They offer a variety of training sessions, workshops, and presentations, including the "In Our Own Voice" program and Family-to-Family education, aimed at equipping participants with knowledge and resources. Through peer support and advocacy, the team engages communities to challenge stigma and promote mental health awareness.
