Matthew Borg

Matthew Borg currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Ubank since October 2021, after previously holding the position of General Manager for Group Development (Mergers & Acquisitions) at National Australia Bank since November 2013. Matthew's extensive experience includes roles as Corporate Advisor at Canterbury Partners Pty Ltd from January 2009 to October 2013 and various positions at UBS Investment Bank, including Equity Research Sales/Sales Trading and Analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions from November 2005 to December 2008. Early career experiences involved summer internships at EY and Ernst & Young in areas such as Audit & Assurance and Transaction Services. Matthew holds a B.Com (Hons) in Finance from the University of Melbourne, a CA in Accounting from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and completed an Open Online Programme in Business/Commerce at INSEAD.
