Carmen Boschmans

Carmen Boschmans has extensive experience in economic relations and financial stability, currently serving as the Head of Economic Relations and Outreach at the Nationale Bank van België since September 2014. Previous roles at the same institution include Advisor for Economic Relations and positions focused on macroprudential and microprudential regulation. Prior to joining the Nationale Bank, Carmen held the position of Investment Strategist at KBC Asset Management, where responsibilities included macroeconomic analysis and fixed income portfolio allocation. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Finance from the University of Warwick and a Master's in Applied Economic Sciences from the University of Antwerp, complemented by various summer programs in esteemed institutions such as LSE, Utrecht University, and Tsinghua University.
