Claude Piret

Mr. Claude Piret has been a member of the Board of Directors of the National Bank of Greece since November 2016, while in the period April-December 2021 he temporarily served as Senior Independent Advisor.

He has extensive experience in the international financial sector, having a career of more than 35 years in international banking organizations. He has held senior positions for a number of years in the Dexia Group, and has extensive experience, among other things, in auditing and in the areas of risk management and non-performing exposure management.

Mr. Piret is a member of the Board of Directors of Saint-Pierre Hospital in Belgium.

He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University "Catholique De Louvain (Belgium)" and a master's degree in Management - Finance from the University "libre de Bruxelles (ULB) -Solvay Institute".
