Dr. Moain Abu Dabrh is a physician-researcher, educator, and health & wellness coach. He completed his medical school in Tripoli, Libya and trained in General Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. He has trained at New York University in New York City and Tufts Medical Center in Boston where he also obtained his master’s in science in clinical and translational research at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is currently at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville where he serves as Associate Consultant and Research Director of Integrative Medicine & Health at the Division of General Internal Medicine. Amongst his other roles include the director of Humanities in Medicine and Well-being for Medical Learners at the Department of Family Medicine.

Dr. Abu Dabrh’s expertise and passion is in the science of studying and building the infrastructure for minimally disruptive, evidence-based, humanistic, and person-centric clinical practices with emphasis on the well-being of patients, caregivers, as well as healthcare professionals. His work focuses on synthesizing, evaluating, testing, and implementing the best available evidence of various interventions and approaches to deliver sustainable, thoughtful, careful, and effective healthcare that takes into consideration all stakeholders. He has published and worked on over 50 peer-reviewed articles, educational material, curricula, and executive reports and served as methodological and topic expert for local, national, and international practice guidelines societies and institutions, including the World Health Organization (WHO), United States Preventive Services Taskforce, Endocrine Society, and the American College of Chest Physicians.
