Susanna Berkouwer is an accomplished academic and researcher with a strong focus on Development Economics and Environmental and Energy Economics. Serving as a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research since 2023, Susanna combines research with teaching as an Assistant Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy at The Wharton School, where Susanna has been instructing "Microeconomics for Managers" since 2020. Susanna’s previous experience includes a Research Fellowship at Harvard University and an Analyst position at Citigroup. Susanna holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Arts from Yale University, and a Bachelor of Science from UCL. Notably, Susanna is a Robert J.
