Gretchen Ruck serves as a director at AlixPartners, where she leads the firm’s cybersecurity practice. Gretchen advises IT and business executives, public board directors and equity investors on the impact of cyber security, data protection and technology risks to their organizations, business initiatives, investments and acquisitions. Prior to joining AlixPartners, she held positions at such world-class organizations as Moody’s, DELL EMC, Gartner, KPMG and SWIFT.
As a business executive, Gretchen has been an active LGBT leader, mentor and advocate. Her professional contributions include presenting at industry events, lecturing at universities, leading workshops, developing training, contributing to White House and global programs, mentoring, and blogging on security, risk, privacy, leadership, and diversity topics. Most recently, Gretchen has advised on international initiatives through the World Economic Forum, The Economists’ Pride and Prejudice agenda, and through the French American Foundation.
