Huw Davies

Huw Davies has extensive experience in the aerospace industry, currently serving as Technology Programme Manager at the National Composites Centre since March 2021. Prior to this, Huw spent over three decades at Airbus, where key roles included A380 Chief Engineer, overseeing the technical direction for the wing, landing gear, and fuel systems, and ensuring airworthiness. Huw also led the A320 Sharklet design team and managed relationships with design partners, notably Korean Airlines. Other positions at Airbus included leadership roles in A350 and A320 engineering teams, in addition to several technical leadership roles. Huw holds a BSc (Hons) in Materials Engineering from Swansea University.
