Lori Scheidt

Lori Scheidt has served as the Executive Director of the Missouri State Board of Nursing since July 2001, effectively leading a team of 28 to support over 137,000 licensees and managing a $10 million annual fund. With a background that includes roles as Licensure Director and extensive experience in the board office, Lori has demonstrated a strong capability in executing visions and maintaining professionalism. Additionally, Lori currently holds the position of Treasurer for the National Council of State Boards of Nursing and has served in various capacities, including Advisory Panel member at the Missouri Center for Patient Safety, Director At Large for NCSBN, and Vice-Chair for Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators. Lori holds a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Management from William Woods University, and an Associate of Arts from Columbia College.
