Ryan A. Mata, M.A., is a doctoral research affiliate at the National Disability Center for Student Success, actively contributing to projects focused on campus accessibility, systematic literature reviews, research translation, and student interviews since August 2023. Previous experience includes serving as the Coordinator of Student Partnerships at the same center, coordinating the Student Fellows group, and facilitating meetings and communications. Mata has held various roles at the University of Texas at Austin, including Graduate Assistant in assessment and initiatives supporting student outcomes, graduate research assistant in the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, and Teaching Assistant for graduate and undergraduate courses. Additional roles include a graduate assistant position at Dell Medical School and participation in urban research as part of the UTLA Domestic Study Program. Mata holds a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in the same field.
