Dan Bridgman

Dan Bridgman is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science at the National Disability Insurance Agency since November 2024, Dan previously held the position of Senior Manager in Data Science at Transport for NSW, where leadership was demonstrated through the successful development of a short-term forecasting model during COVID-19. Prior to that, Dan worked as a Senior Data Scientist at 86 400, contributing to multiple data science delivery patterns and redesigning the data science tech stack for AWS. Experience also includes roles at Domo, PwC Australia, Fairfax Media, Tribeka Ltd, Boden, Metrica, and Pell & Bales, covering a range of responsibilities from technical consulting to database administration. Dan holds a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire.
