David Skinner

David Skinner is an accomplished editor and publications director with extensive experience in the field of humanities and journalism. Since June 2007, David has served as the Director of Publications for the National Endowment for the Humanities, overseeing Humanities magazine and acting as the director of communications in both 2017 and 2020. Prior to this role, David worked at The Weekly Standard from December 1998 to June 2007 as an Assistant Managing Editor, where responsibilities included editing articles across various magazine sections. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Kenyon College, where studies took place from 1991 to 1995, and is an alumnus of the Laguardia High School of the Arts, where education was completed from 1988 to 1991.
