Claudia Kalb

Claudia Kalb is an accomplished journalist and book author with extensive experience in science and medical writing. Currently, Claudia serves as a journalist for National Geographic, where notable contributions include cover stories on genius and historical figures such as Picasso and Leonardo. Claudia's recent publication, "SPARK: HOW GENIUS IGNITES, FROM CHILD PRODIGIES TO LATE BLOOMERS," was released on April 27, 2021. Previously, Claudia held the position of senior writer at Newsweek, focusing on groundbreaking stories in health and science from April 1994 to April 2011. Claudia Kalb holds a BA in English from Amherst College, an MA in International Affairs and Media from Columbia SIPA, and completed the John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships at Stanford.
