Ben Ivko

Ben Ivko is a seasoned professional in the fields of GIS and data management, currently serving as a GIS Lead at National Grid since November 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Digital Services Manager for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension project at Arup, where focus was on digital vision and strategy implementation. Ben also held positions at Arup as Principal GIS/Data Manager, co-leading a digital team and applying GIS tools for enhanced data integrity, and as Senior Digital and GIS Analyst, managing a diverse international team for the HS2 Phase 2a project. Prior to Arup, Ben was Data Integration Lead at Halliburton, responsible for income generation and spatial data integration across service lines. Earlier roles at Halliburton and Neftex Petroleum Consultants involved significant contributions to GIS applications, data management, and geoscience projects. Ben Ivko earned an MSci in Geology from the University of Bristol and completed a year abroad in Geology at The University of British Columbia.
