Phillippa Taberlay

Phillippa Taberlay, Ph.D., is a seasoned researcher with extensive experience in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. Currently serving as a Principal Research Fellow at Menzies Institute for Medical Research since January 2024, Phillippa has held multiple prominent research roles, including NHMRC Emerging Research Fellow and Career Development Fellow at the National Health and Medical Research Council since February 2016. Previous positions include Senior Research Fellow, Lab Head, and Senior Lecturer (Conjoint) at the University of Tasmania, as well as Senior Lecturer (Conjoint) at the University of New South Wales. Phillippa has also worked at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and the Cancer Institute NSW. Education credentials include a Ph.D. and a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Tasmania.
