The Health and Community Services Team at the National Health Corps is dedicated to enhancing public health and well-being through education, advocacy, and direct service. Team members collaborate with resource-limited organizations to address the opioid crisis, promote independent living for older adults, and improve nutrition and physical activity to combat obesity and chronic diseases. They engage in hands-on service, mentorship, and professional development activities to build capacity and support healthier communities, while also nurturing the next generation of compassionate health leaders.
