Joel Kolata is a skilled software developer with a robust background in engineering and technology. Currently serving as a Software Developer II at NISC since February 2022, Joel previously held multiple roles at Charter Steel, including Software and Systems Engineer II and Software and Systems Engineer, where expertise in .NET technologies was applied. Earlier experiences include a position as a Software Engineer at Repete Corporation, focusing on software design and implementation for automated feed mill solutions, and as an Automation Software Engineer Intern at Charter Steel, contributing to HMI development and system management. Joel also gained research experience in photonics while serving as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and provided technical support as a Help Desk Consultant.
