Yacine Kalke

Yacine Kalke currently serves as a Senior Planning Officer in the Equality Unit for Migration and Cultural Diversity at the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) since March 2024. Previously, Yacine has worked as a Business Specialist with TE-palvelut, focusing on Youth Services and Technology & Science Industries since April 2020. Yacine is also the former owner and entrepreneur of Bloom Wellbeing, a yoga, pilates, and massage studio in Helsinki, which operated from July 2019 to May 2023. From December 2012 to June 2019, Yacine worked as a Yoga Teacher at Studio Yin and held various roles at KIOS Foundation, including Grant Advisor responsible for project management in South Asia and East Africa. Internships at EXIT ry and KIOS Foundation provided early experience in human rights and project evaluation. Yacine holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Helsinki and completed RYT200h Yoga Teacher Training.
