Karl Drews

Karl Drews has extensive experience in legal and operational roles, currently serving as the Vice President of Operations and Corporate Secretary at the National Institute of Aerospace since 2003. Prior to this, Karl held the position of Assistant General Counsel at Software AG from 1991 to 2001, where responsibilities included managing global intellectual property functions, overseeing litigation, and advising senior management on IPR matters. Earlier in the career, Karl was the General Counsel at Computer Dynamics, advising the Board and senior management on legal compliance and contract negotiations. Karl's career began as a Senior Systems Analyst at M. Rosenblatt & Son. Academic credentials include a JD from William & Mary Law School and a BA in Political Science and Computer Science from Old Dominion University.
