Steve Chapman

Steve Chapman is a seasoned forestry and land management professional with extensive experience in various roles related to forest management and conservation. Currently serving as a Land Professional at National Land Realty since March 2022, Chapman also operates as a Consultant and Owner at Habitat Management Services, LLC, since March 2013. Previously, Chapman held the position of Forestry Coordinator with the National Bobwhite Conservation Initiative from May 2015 to November 2021, and worked with the Georgia Forestry Commission from August 1985 to March 2013 in multiple capacities including Timber Sales Forester, Staff Forester, and Forest Management Forester. Chapman's experience encompasses resource management planning, timber sales coordination, forest health assessment, prescribed burn planning, and collaboration with federal agencies to provide cost-share opportunities for landowners. Chapman earned a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources from The University of Georgia and an Associate of Science from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
