Thilina Nirmal

Thilina Nirmal is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as a Research and Development Chemist at National Paints since September 2023, focusing on the innovation of water-based and solvent-based products. Previous experience includes the role of Research and Development Manager at Macksons Paints Lanka (Pvt) Ltd / Multilac from November 2014 to July 2022, where Thilina Nirmal was responsible for developing and implementing R&D strategies and interpreting research project results for product development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Industrial Analytical Chemistry from the University of Sri Jayawardhanapura (2015-2018) and a Graduate Chemist designation from the College of Chemical Sciences Institute of Chemistry Ceylon (2011-2014).
