Flavius Mihaies is a Senior Consultant at Food Systems Foresight since August 2021, focusing on shaping the futures of food systems. As an Independent Consultant and Expert, Flavius provides strategic guidance in sustainable development and climate finance, leveraging both analytical skills and on-the-ground methodologies. Flavius is also an Independent Journalist contributing to notable outlets such as Huffington Post, the Atlantic Council, and Al Jazeera, with extensive experience in the Middle East. Additionally, Flavius founded Data Journalism DC to unite data scientists and journalists, and has held consultancy roles with various organizations, including the World Bank and the Global Environment Facility. Flavius holds multiple degrees in International Relations and Political Science from prestigious institutions including the University of Oxford and the Geneva Graduate Institute.
