Ashley McDaniel

Ashley McDaniel is an experienced professional currently serving as an Energy Laboratory Engineering Project Manager at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since May 2023. Previously, Ashley worked as a Naval Reactors Engineer for the US Navy from July 2018 to April 2023, and as a Math and Science Tutor at Varsity Tutors from September 2016 to May 2018. Ashley's academic background includes a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona, where a notable research project focused on microbubble contrast agents for early pancreatic cancer detection was managed. Additional experience includes an internship at PepsiCo as a Supply Chain/Manufacturing Operations Intern, where efforts to reduce processing waste and improve food manufacturing techniques were undertaken.
