Keith Davidson

Keith Davidson is an experienced electrical engineer specializing in renewable energy and electric vehicle grid integration. Currently serving as an Electric Vehicle Grid Integration Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since October 2019, Keith has previously worked as a Freelance Electrical Engineer at PVKeith, focusing on photovoltaic system design, technical due diligence, and incident investigation from May 2013 to August 2021. Prior roles include Senior Electrical Engineer at Suntech, where Keith led the production of electrical engineering plans for solar photovoltaic systems, and Electrical Design Engineer at SunPower Corporation, designing high-efficiency solar power systems. Keith began a career in the United States Navy as a Junior Officer, serving as a Submarine Force Nuclear Power Officer and Engineer. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, a Graduate Certificate in Electric Drivetrain Technology, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
