Riley Sutton

Riley Sutton, CFPS, PMSFPE, is an accomplished Fire Protection Engineer with extensive experience in various roles focused on fire safety and protection. Currently employed at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory since July 2022, Riley previously held positions as Fire Protection Engineer and Deputy Fire Marshal at Hanford Mission Integration Solutions from September 2021 to June 2022, and at CH2M HILL Plateau Remediation Company from January 2016 to September 2021, serving as a subject matter expert in fire protection requirements. Prior work includes internships at ConocoPhillips and BP, and earlier roles in building maintenance and teaching assistance. Riley holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology from Oklahoma State University and has educational background from Stillwater High School and Meridian Technology Center.
