Salil Rabade

Salil Rabade is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Materials Science (Photovoltaic Reliability) at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, a position held since September 2023. Previous experience includes a role as an R&D Packaging Intern at Intel Corporation, where fixture design and validation of metrology took place. Salil's earlier internships include positions as an R&D Engineer Intern at NeoLight and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Applied Materials, focusing on thermal characterization and fluid-thermal system design. Prior experience also encompasses contributions as a Research Aide at Arizona State University’s SpaceTrex Lab, where thermal modeling of Cube satellites and development of sensor modules powered by PEM fuel cells were key projects. Educational credentials include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, an MS from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor's degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
