Ben Schrag is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology commercialization and research. Currently serving as Program Director and Policy Liaison for SBIR/STTR at the National Science Foundation since May 2009, Ben is responsible for awarding and managing development grants to small businesses. Prior to this role, Ben contributed as a Visiting Scientist at Brown University and held the position of Director of R&D and Project Manager at Micro Magnetics, Inc., focusing on the development of miniaturized magnetic sensors. Ben holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Brown University and a B.A. in Physics from Reed College.
