Davitt Lamon

Davitt Lamon currently serves as the Head of Building Information Modelling (BIM) at the National Standards Authority of Ireland and is a Skill Competition Manager for Digital Construction at WorldSkills International. Previously, Lamon held multiple roles at C+W O'Brien Architects, including Head of Research & Innovation and Architectural Technologist, from May 2015 to December 2024. Additionally, Lamon has been an Assistant Lecturer at Technological University Dublin across the School of Architecture, Building & Environment and the School of Surveying & Construction Innovation since September 2018. Lamon's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Building Information Modelling (BIM), along with several postgraduate certificates and a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Building Information Modelling & Management, all obtained from Technological University Dublin.
