Laura Spining currently serves as the Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Internet Connectivity & Growth at the US Department of Commerce, NTIA, a position held since April 2009. Previously, Laura Spining held the role of Director of Broadband Infrastructure within the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of the Internet Innovation Alliance and as Client Executive at Level 3 Communications. Laura Spining also worked as Membership Director for the US Telecom Association and as Executive Assistant at the Executive Office of the President. Laura Spining holds a degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earned between 1987 and 1991.
