Edel Hughes

Edel Hughes is a highly qualified academic in the field of law, currently serving as a Lecturer in Law at the School of Law, University of Galway since January 2020. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Lecturer in Law at Middlesex University from September 2017 to September 2022 and at the University of East London from January 2012 to September 2017. Furthermore, Edel Hughes contributed to the field as a Lecturer in Law at the University of Limerick between November 2006 and December 2011. Edel Hughes holds a PhD in International Human Rights Law and an LLM in the same field from the University of Galway, as well as a BCL degree in Law and French from University College Cork.
