Finn Krewer

Finn Krewer is an experienced academic researcher currently working at the University of Galway since March 2024. Previously, Finn served as Chief Technology Officer at 9th Impact from October 2016 to June 2023, where responsibilities included project specification, management, execution, and consulting on database, backend architecture, and graphical programming in Unity. Finn was also a PhD candidate and researcher at the National University of Ireland from September 2012 to September 2016, focusing on Hardware System On Chip Neural Networks under the supervision of Dr. Fearghal Morgan. Earlier in career, Finn gained practical experience as an intern software engineer at PopCap Games in 2011, specializing in iOS game development. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Galway (2008-2012) and a Leaving Certificate from Gort Community School (2003-2008).
