Katie Evans

Katie Evans is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government affairs, marketing, and project management. Currently serving as Vice President of Chapter Relations at the National Waste & Recycling Association since February 2022, Katie previously held significant roles at Best Way Disposal, overseeing government affairs and marketing for a network of transfer stations and landfills from December 2011 to January 2022. Prior to that, Katie worked in healthcare marketing research at Ipsos, managed client relationships at Bridge Worldwide, and led projects at LPK, where expertise was developed in both project coordination and creative management. Katie’s career began with internships that provided a strong foundation in communication and event promotion. Katie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, along with an Associate in Business Administration and Fine Arts from Thomas More University.
