Lisa van Paaschen

Lisa van Paaschen is an experienced professional with a strong background in law and public policy. Currently serving as a strategic advisor and researcher at De Nationale Ombudsman since February 2018, Lisa has also held roles as a member and chair of the Advisory Committee for Objections at the Municipality of Haarlem from January 2020 to August 2021. Prior experience includes positions as a State Official and Jurist at the Raad van State in the Immigration Chamber from September 2012 to February 2018, and as a legal assistant at the Public Prosecution Service from March 2012 to August 2012. Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Public International Law from Utrecht University and two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Derecho from Universidad de Granada and another in Dutch Law from Maastricht University.
