Andy Zawada

Andy Zawada is an experienced software engineer and Chief Information Officer with a solid background in cloud security and software development. Currently serving as a Specialist in Software Engineering at Nationwide since January 2021, Andy is dedicated to enhancing security and policy enforcement tools for cloud environments, with a particular focus on the software supply chain. In parallel, Andy has been guiding Affordable towards a container and DevOps-centric approach while managing teams of student developers to improve the Affordable platform since September 2020. Previous experience includes an internship in application development at Nationwide Financial and a role as a Student AV Technician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University.
