Jessica Zaugg

Jessica Zaugg is an accomplished insurance executive with extensive experience in underwriting and operational leadership. Currently serving as VP of CL Underwriting, Automation and Service Solutions at Nationwide since January 2022, Jessica oversees a workforce of over 700 associates and manages a $60M sales agency while implementing technology solutions to enhance profitability. Prior roles include Senior AVP of National Field Underwriting for Small Commercial, where Jessica successfully led nearly 400 professionals through significant organizational changes, and AVP positions for Small Commercial and Personal Lines Underwriting, demonstrating a consistent track record of driving efficiency, engagement, and profitable growth across multiple regions. Jessica began the professional journey at Allied Insurance, culminating in over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the insurance industry coupled with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Iowa State University.
