Susan Murray

Susan Murray is a Physical Sciences Specialist at Natural Resources Canada, focusing on the development of forest carbon models using the SpaDES predictive ecology modelling toolkit since October 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Head of Geospatial Development and Senior GIS Analyst at FYBR Inc. from July 2017 to September 2024, and a GIS Practicum with Environment and Climate Change Canada in mid-2017. Additional experience encompasses various positions at the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society and organic farm work in Australia. Academic qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Saint Mary's University.
