Claudia Blanco Nunez

Claudia Blanco Nunez is an experienced advocacy associate at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), having been with the organization since July 2022. Prior to this role, Claudia served as a program assistant for the Dirty Energy Project and as an E2 Clean Energy Summer Associate, where significant work included outreach to business voices in Virginia and researching legislative profiles in North Carolina. Previous positions also include a bilingual student assistant at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, where Claudia crafted multimedia articles and participated in grant application reviews, and as an Indigenous Communications Coordinator for the U.S. Green Chamber of Commerce, contributing to climate initiatives and partnerships. Claudia holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Cornell University and has experience in bilingual communication and sustainability research.
