Torrey Luiting is an accomplished Associate Principal Ecologist at Natural Systems Design + Coastal Geologic Services, with expertise in environmental science and project management focused on ecosystem restoration since September 2018. Prior to this role, Torrey served as a Senior Ecologist, specializing in regulatory compliance and interdisciplinary problem-solving for river, stream, and wetland restoration projects in Washington. Torrey's extensive experience includes over 17 years at ICF as a Principal and senior environmental project manager, overseeing complex infrastructure and compliance projects. Other roles include Environmental Coordinator for the US Army Corps of Engineers and Wetland Biologist at Raedeke Associates, with an educational background that includes a Master's in stream and wetland biology from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's in Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Additionally, Torrey has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at the University of Washington and an environmental science instructor at Seattle Central Community College.
