Rui Costa

Rui Costa is an experienced Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) at NAV Portugal, specializing in the leadership of Air Traffic Management in Portugal since September 2013. Responsibilities include overseeing critical equipment essential for Air Traffic Operations in the Santa Maria FIR. Rui Costa holds certification from EUROCONTROL and previously interned with ATSEP, focusing on Common Core Content Initial Training. Between May 2014 and February 2018, Rui Costa served as a delegate for APTTA, the Portuguese member association of IFATSEA, at Santa Maria Airport. As a founder member and coordinator of the Pedagogical Section at the Núcleo de Estudantes de Engenharia Electrónica e Telecomunicações - Aveiro, involvement spanned from December 2011 to August 2012. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Universidade de Aveiro (2008-2014) and Lodz University of Technology (2012-2013).
